Talk to Her (2002)

This is an okay Spanish movie. Two men meet at a private clinic where Benigno works as a nurse, and Marco is visiting his girlfriend Lydia, who was gored by a bull and has fallen into a coma. Benigno is in charge of another patient in a coma, Alicia, a young ballet student. When Marco passes by Alicia's room, Benigno approaches him. They start to develop a friendship and talk about their own lives and the two comatose women. When Benigno is accused of rape and fired, Marco tries to maintain contact with him.

Actress Leonor Watling is beautiful. There have been real cases of pregnant women who go into a coma and still give birth, and also women who were raped while in a coma and became pregnant. Benigno means "benign" or "harmless" in Spanish. The film won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. The play "Trenches" shown in the film, is about how whenever a soldier dies, a ballerina rises from the body.
