The Calder Game

I liked this book written by Blue Balliett. When Calder Pillay travels with his father to a remote village in England, he finds a mix of mazes and mystery, including an unexpected sculpture built by a famous American from the early 20th century named Alexander Calder. Most of the town does not appreciate the statue, but the young boy is drawn to it because of the unique design and the artist’s name. One night Calder and the sculpture disappear. His friends Petra and Tommy are flown to England to figure out what happened. This is the sequel to The Wright 3.
